Agencies and Research Centers:

1. Alan Guttmacher Institute - Men's page : "The Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) is a nonprofit organization focused on sexual and reproductive health research, policy analysis and public education. AGI publishes Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health, International Family Planning Perspectives, The Guttmacher Report on Public Policy and special reports on topics pertaining to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The Institute's mission is to protect the reproductive choices of all women and men in the United States and throughout the world. It is to support their ability to obtain the information and services needed to achieve their full human rights, safeguard their health and exercise their individual responsibilities in regard to sexual behavior and relationships, reproduction and family formation."

2. Office of Population Affairs Clearinghouse - Covers topics such as family planning, reproductive health, STDs, adolescent pregnancy programs, data and statistics, publications, legislation, and links to other websites. "The Office of Population Affairs Clearinghouse, formerly known as the Family Life Information Exchange (FLIE), is sponsored by the Office of Population Affairs, Public Health Service, Department of Health and Human Services. The OPA Clearinghouse collects, develops, and distributes information on family planning, adolescent pregnancy, abstinence, adoption, reproductive health care, and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and AIDS. The primary target audience of the Clearinghouse is Title X and Title XX grantees."

3. CDC National Prevention Information Network - From this page, search for male or men and it leads to thousands of education outreach materials such as reports, information sheets, and other grey literature. "The CDC National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) is the U.S. reference, referral, and distribution service for information on HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and tuberculosis (TB). NPIN produces, collects, catalogs, processes, stocks, and disseminates materials and information on HIV/AIDS, STDs, and TB to organizations and people working in those disease fields in international, national, state, and local settings. All NPIN services are designed to facilitate sharing of information and resources on education and prevention services, published materials, research findings, and trends among users."

4. CDC Reproductive health - Use search bar at the top right corner "The CDC's Division of Reproductive Health mission is to promote optimal reproductive and infant health and quality of life by influencing public policy, health care practice, community practices, and individual behaviors through scientific and programmatic expertise, leadership, and support. CDC accomplishes its mission by working with partners throughout the nation and world to: Conduct epidemiologic, behavioral, demographic, and health services research; support national and state-based surveillance systems to monitor trends and investigate health issues; support development of scientific and programmatic development within states and other jurisdictions; provide technical assistance, consultation, and training worldwide; translate research findings into health care practice, public health policy, and health promotion strategies."

5. CDC STDs site - This site covers the specific topics of STDs for both males and females and links to key resources such as health communication, training and publications relating to STDs.

6. Federal Citizen Information Center - From here you can type in search criteria such as "male sexual health" and see related documents that have been written on issues relating to male sexual health. "For over 30 years, the Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC) has been a trusted one-stop source for answers to questions about consumer problems and government services. Consumers can get the information they need in three ways: by calling toll-free 1 (800) FED-INFO, through printed publications, or through information posted on FCIC's family of websites: www.firstgov.gov, www.pueblo.gsa.gov, www.kids.gov, www.consumeraction.gov."

7. Center for Research in Reproduction and Contraception - The Center for Research in Reproduction and Contraception at the University of Washington is dedicated to basic and clinical research focused primarily on the male reproductive system. Under the auspices of the Center, fifteen project investigators are working to understand the biology of this complex system and to apply their findings to problems of infertility and contraceptive development. Their research ranges from the biophysics of cell signaling to clinical trials of hormonal contraceptives. Other important goals are to train young scientists in the methods of reproductive biology and medicine and to maintain cooperative research with institutions in developing countries.

Together, the scientists and trainees of the CRRC are addressing some of the most challenging scientific problems as well as the most pressing social issues of our time.
