2008 FPMTC Family Planning Male Training Center Annual Male Reproductive Health Conference
This exciting conference will focus on the issues that challenge male family planning and male reproductive health programs. The three-day event promises to be a great opportunity for professionals working in these areas to network while learning about new developments, emerging trends and refinements of traditional strategies for increasing male involvement.
This event is co-sponsored by TRAINING 3, the Region III Family Planning Training Center, supported by the Office of Population Affairs and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Health and Human Services.
Continuing Education
Nursing - Nursing contact hours will be provided by TRAINING 3. TRAINING 3 is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Health Educators - Application has been made to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) for CHES Category 1 continuing education contact hours (CECH).
Social Workers - Application has been made to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for continuing education contact hours.
Course Completion Certificate
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance from TRAINING 3. TRAINING 3 is a program of the Family Planning Council.
Important Conference Information
There is no conference registration fee for participants from programs that receive Title X funding.
