Alfonso Carlon is a Project Director and staff trainer with the Center for Health Training in Austin, Texas.  Mr. Carlon has served in numerous roles in the Title X community over the past 17 years, including community clinic health educator, community outreach worker, state health services trainer-facilitator, male-involvement coordinator, project director for family planning access enhancement grant, and HIV/AIDS prevention education for women attending minority educational institutions.  He recently completed an internship with StirFry Seminars & Consulting, Inc. in Berkeley, California, a firm specializing in diversity training, and over the past year has been consulting with the Heartland National TB Training Center in San Antonio, Tx. in working with diverse communities and TB prevention.  Mr. Carlon served on the 2006-2007 National Family Planning Male Training Center Advisory Committee.  Alfonso is an avid gardener and has owned a landscaping business since 1989. He is also the proud father of two sons, ages 7 and 11.
